Terms & Conditions — SCC Global

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing sccglobal.org, the SCC Global member dashboard (admin.sccglobal.org), or the SCC mobile app ("the Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Membership & Eligibility

Membership in SCC Global is open to individuals and businesses that share our mission of supporting the Sikh professional and entrepreneurial community. SCC Global reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or terminate any membership at its sole discretion.

3. Consent to Use Personal Information

By becoming a member, registering for events, creating a vendor listing, or otherwise using the Services, you expressly consent to SCC Global collecting, storing, and using your personal details — including but not limited to your email address, phone number, mailing address, and business contact information — for the purposes of membership administration, event coordination, communication, directory listings, verification, and platform operation. You may withdraw consent or request deletion of your data by contacting us, subject to any legal or operational obligations we must maintain.

4. Vendor Directory & Verification

Vendor listings are self-submitted. A "verified" badge indicates the business has been vouched for by a local SCC committee, but does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee of quality, or warranty of any transaction between members and vendors.

5. Events, Ticketing & Refunds

Event tickets purchased through the platform are subject to the individual event's refund policy shown at checkout. Member and non-member pricing is applied based on your active subscription at the time of purchase.

6. Subscriptions

Basic and Family plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including but not limited to: uploading unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content; impersonating others; scraping data; or attempting to circumvent security controls. Violations may result in account termination.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (business listings, reviews, images). By submitting content, you grant SCC Global a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it within the Services.

9. Intellectual Property

The SCC Global name, logo, learning-hub content, etiquette guide, and platform software are the property of SCC Global and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SCC Global does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific business outcomes from participation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCC Global shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
